Stopped on our way out of town for a snack for the road. Fantastic donuts! Good coffee. I am not a cake donut girl, but the caramel iced one was Delicious! Light and tender. Service was fast on a weekday morning. Highly recommend!
Starting 2025 off right. Fave donut shop. Great hours. Quick service. Sugar donut is my fave and other family picks the white long John. Apple fritters are a fan favorite so if that's your favorite, go here. I think they make them fresh at 11:00 pm
Oh my goodness! When I tell you these are easily some of the best donuts I've had! I seen this location randomly one day on TikTok and had to try it out. The bakery is small but that's to be expected, as it is called a drive-in. They do have cute spots outside where you can sit, relax and enjoy your donuts. When you first walk in, you're immediately greeted and helped with. The gentleman at the counter helped my boyfriend and I decide on what to pick out. Letting us know that their glazed donuts are the freshest. The staff are very polite, patient, and cheerfully helpful. We couldn't decide, so we bought a variety! These were my favorite; The red velvet donuts were so soft and delicious, The glazed donuts were just like the worker said (fresh) and so perfectly made, and the vanilla sprinkled donut and just perfect! I definitely recommend this donut bakery! The price of the count of donuts isn't bad, and it's so much more worth coming here rather than simply going to Krispy Kreme. The donuts here are far more fresh and delicious!
The donuts were really good and you can tell it is very fresh. Service was great, friendly service. The place looked very clean. Definitely recommended to try here and enjoy some. I got the red velvet, vanilla with sprinkles & chocolate drizzled French cruler.
Scrumptious, sweet, and stunning! These were some of the best donuts i've had round' my time in STL. The place and parking lot is small, but I will assure you that it's worth the inside! The whole place just smells like goodness. The staff was so polite! I'm so glad they were patient and there were also a wide spread of donuts. I mostly get the originals-chocolate and strawberry with sprinkles, glazed, so and so. So delicious! They were fluffy, soft and had a nice consistency. Go here!
You can only give this place 5 stars but they should get 10. The best dive donut place in St Louis (I know that there are a lot of really good ones but I'm here now). Stop in here for your sugar and donut cravings.
A classic donut shop! These are probably some of the best donuts I've had in STL. The shop is super tiny for customers, so expect to get in and get out. Also when it's busy, you'll be waiting outside so be prepared if it's cold out. They offer a wide range of flavors, cake and yeast donuts and some specialties like apple fritters (my personal favorite). This is a must try!
Yes. The answer is yes...you need to stop here on your STL adventure or your journey on historic Rt 66...or just because you are near here! Red velvet cake- yes. Filled with butter cream- yes. Old fashioned- yes. Long John- heck yes. APPLE FRITTER- OMG yes, get two! The service was excellent- our experience was perfect! In and out with a box of happiness! You can even order ahead- they have seasonal flavors and decorated donuts- perfect for holiday gatherings! Yes!
I am visiting family from St. Louis but always wanted to try this donut spot! I saw it off an STL food account and this donut shop has been in business over 50 years! We decided to go early on a Sunday morning- around 8am and even then the parking lot was completely full! There was a line out of the door, however it moves quickly. I am glad I looked online to get a sense of what they had because inside was madness. It's super super small- and there are typically 3-4 employees helping at one time. I really couldn't even see the donut case because others were standing in front of it. I picked a random assortment- a Chocolate Long John, Marble Iced Yeast ring, Glazed jelly filled, Sugar Jelly filled, Chocolate iced Custard, Chocolate Iced Cake and Sprinkle Chocolate Iced Cake. They have a ton of options, but they are all classics. Nothing fancy and I appreciate that. The donuts were all very very good. I really liked that the ones filled were actually filled- not half dough. It was hard to pick but I do think I preferred the yeast ones over the cake. But seriously you can't go wrong. I am already planning another trip back!!! Overall experience 5/5
Classic, light donuts. I didn't even feel sick after gobbling them down. Highly recommend the red velvet. Delicious and they didn't last long. Note the maple glaze is weak for those maple fans here, but that was my only note.
